Time IN to co-create balance.


The day to day can easily give us that feeling of being a bit overwhelm. Do you feel like you want to slow down a bit? Move away from the external self more toward our inner self? Well, this is fine and remember that our emotions are signaling friendly guidance to us.

It is important to remember to connect within and do this daily so we don't get to the overlwhelming feeling, like suddenly too much. Here is an exercise you could do with your child and it only takes 5 to 10 minutes a day to sit and take TIME IN!

1. BREATHING: Practice a few rounds of the humming breath to de-stress, unwind and relax.

Sit in a comfortable position, on the floor beding your knees toward your body, your bottom resting on the floor, torso upright, head raises up toward the ceiling.

Inhale deeply and slowly using your nose, and as you exhale from your nose too make a gentle bumble bee sound.

Repeat this for five times.

2. Visualize with your child about how to shift from being in a PARTY to being CALM. Do this with them... visualize head, neck, eyes, arms, legs and feet and say the word CALM to each part of the body.

3. Remind your child of the gifts and abundance we have in our lives and help them to focus on some of the things they are thank-full for. (This exercise helps to let go of the external happenings and bring their focus to the internal.
