Gree Goddess Water

Hello Tourist and Travelers:

Just finished one of the most amazing yoga/retreats about "what is beauty" and we are all very pleased with our own self-realizations and practical conclusions. One of the popular food items served was the Green Goddess Water and as promised, I am sharing more information about it with you.

Green Goodness Water ~ water infused with fresh cucumber, mint, lime, fresh ginger, blueberries and green apples. With a hint of Garam Masala, this water is refreshing flavored with spice notes of cardamom, cinnamon and cloves.

How it works?
1. Green apples are known are cleansing food, contain fiber, antioxidants and fruit flavonoids. This fruit is also a source of vitamin C.

2. Flavonoids are powerful scavengers that destroy harmful free radicals in the body, thereby reducing cancer risk.

3. The combination of spices used in garam masala (combination of aromatic and Hindu and Persian herbs), offers the following benefits:
  • Cinnamon is anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory, and it helps
boost brain function and control blood sugar in people with diabetes.
  • Cumin is an excellent source of iron, it aids digestion and it has
    cancer healing properties.
  • Coriander is sometimes referred to as an "anti-diabetic" plant because
it helps control blood sugar. It also has anti-inflammatory properties
    and it helps lower cholesterol.
4. Mint, it is used to calm and balance heart palpitations, restore metabolic liver functions, improves blood circulation and lungs function.

5. Ginger is perhaps the best herb for digestion. It helps break down proteins to rid the stomach and intestines of gas. It also aids in the digestion of fatty foods. Ginger also relaxes the muscles surrounding blood vessels, facilitating the flow of blood throughout the body. Ginger brewed as a tea, it induces sweating, which helps fevers run their course.

6. Sugarcane is very useful in scanty urination. It keeps the urinary flow clear and helps the kidneys to perform their functions properly.

7. Cucumbers, well, they are actually a fruit. Excellent detoxifiers, purifying the blood by eliminating the uric acid, expelling the excess of water from the organism and, because of its natural laxative properties, cucumber
help clean the intestines of fecal residuals and water retention in the extremities. Excellent to detox skin due to its high content of Vit E.

8. Blueberries dissolve kidney stones and remove deposits of calcium in the body. Blueberries are an excellent source of manganese, which it is essential in bone development and in converting the proteins,
carbohydrates and fats in food into to energy – a perfect job for blueberries.
They are also the top nutritional choice rich in antioxidants, which prevent cancer cells from its multiplication.
