Swiming With Dolphins and Their Message, (Part II)

Transform The Way We Perceive Reality: Opening Our Hearts for Self-Healing:

We have started our journey guided by the voice of the heart that invites us to
reconnect with our inner selves, with the ancient wisdom that behave in every
pore of our being . As we walk and then reconvened with soul friends , we
remember the infinite freedom that lies in the understanding that we are the
creators of the new dream.

One of our divine journeys is for inner truth and re-connection with self,
Spirit-IN-Love. Many of us have heard the sacred call that the Dolphins emit
from their heart. A cosmic call, an ancestral call inviting us to unity, IN love
and cooperation.

What Dolphins are teaching us? We are free beings, without conditions and if any, attachments are IN freedom and that's authentic love. All actions IN love are conducive to freedom, that what we share IN love is a celebration of life and the infinite connection that binds us all equally, sharing our evolving for the collective good, IN deep love and mutual respect.

See yourself as an integral part of the cosmic symphony of creation IN love. We are housed by God Mother Earth to live as a family with all forms and manifestations of love.

INTENTION: Transmute our old patterns of fear = pain, lack or absence and
ignorance to Love = Happiness, wealth and blending (Spirit-IN-Love).

INTENTION: Establish the foundations for the expansion of multidimensional consciousness.

HOW? Deep meditative state to trace these codes. You can do this in a piece of paper, with pencil or color pencils; to send in healing by laying on of hands, with Crystals over your body or in the air to harmonize the spaces.

REMEMBER: THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO ALIGN WITH THE
INTENTION AND THIS IS THE MEDITATION, TO WELCOME THE ESSENCE OF THESE ENERGIES AND BECOME THEM IN OUR HEARTS FIRST.

Invocation: Namaste

Replies To Postcards From Tourist and Travelers

Question: Katherine, what's the real meaning of Namaste?

First, remember that we use words to communicate meaning and even better, to communicate intention. Also, remember that it is a bit difficult to use words to explain Spirit. Why? Spirit is non-physical and when we attempt to explain Spirit with words it may evoke folklore. :)  I prefer to state that, Spirit is a matter of the heart.

The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us. The intention implies a desire to stay connected living "Spirit-IN-Love."  The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another, blended. "Nama" means bow as profound admiration and respect, "as" means I, and "te" means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means "bow me you" or "I bow to you."

My own definition, the way I FEEL IT IN MY HEART, the meaning of Namaste is "the glue of life that happily weaves and inspires-to-evolve love while expanding it - individually and collectively - including ALL living beings."

A way to intentionally perform Namaste:  We place the hands together at the heart charka, close the eyes, and bow the head. It can also be done by placing the hands together in front of the third eye, bowing the head, and then bringing the hands down to the heart. This is an especial deep form of acceptance and acknowledgement of divinity in one another. Although in the West the word "Namaste" is usually spoken in conjunction with the gesture, in India, it is understood that the gesture itself signifies Namaste, and therefore, it is unnecessary to say the word while bowing.

INTENTION is the most important thing. Intention is the Divine Essence that gives birth and ground our heart-impulses and actions. What is the intention of your energy?

  •  What's in your heart?
  • Are you acknowledging the divine connection with-in and with-out you? Do you appreciate the value of it?
  • Do you honor life? Do you live IN love? Do you realize that you are Spirit IN love? What does this means to you? How would you tran-scend Spirit in this world and your Divine Humanity in Spirit?
  • I add a smile to the invocation of Namaste because it makes me smile when I consciously choose to live IN love.

  • I acknowledge that I am Divine, I am free, I am love.

Have a Happy Namaste!

Remember to meditate, reflect or journal about your life. Listen to your heart and allow your heart to speak its truth. May you have a divine and happy journey. :)

Love and light!

Self-Healing Cultivation With The Moon - Lungs (Metal Element)

Dearest friends,

Here is a simple self-healing cultivation, (gathering and trans-forming) good energy practice or spiritual exercise. Bring into your awareness the presence of nature, our extended body. Tune-in to the energy of love, well-being, bliss or flow to live in freedom and joy.

Taoist QiGong Self-Healing Cultivation: Transforming "blocked" emotional energy into nourishment-at-ease of the five organs; elements of nature present in our physical composition; Heart (Fire), Spleen (Earth), Lungs (Metal), Kidneys (Water) and Liver (Wood), as described in Chinese Energy Medicine.  We are physical extensions of the environment we live in.

In this specific cultivation, (exercise practice), we transform the stuck energy of grief, located in the lung organ-system, into the lung's virtue, (the positive essence of the lung in Chinese Energy Medicine is courage.)

Time Required: 10-15 minutes, or longer if you wish
Modulation: Sound, Light, Metal Element
  1. Find a quiet place to practice. I do recommend you create your own PEACE CORNER(1) for your daily cultivations. Sit upright on the front edge of a straight-backed chair, facing South since this is a cultivation for enrichment, with your feet flat on the floor, directly beneath your knees. It's also fine to sit in a cross-legged position on a cushion of the floor, if this is comfortable for you.
  2. Calm your mind and your body. Focus on the present moment at peace. Take a couple of deep, slow breaths. As you exhale, smile gently, which will help to release any unnecessary tension in your face, jaw, neck or shoulders. Feel your energy settling into your lower abdomen - the lower dantien.
  3. Bring your focus - your conscious attention - to your lungs: a huge organ, comprised of five lobes, which occupies the majority your mid- to upper chest (everywhere except for where your heart is). Smile gently to your lungs, as you shift your focus toward the co-creation of good healing energy.
  4. Take a deep, smooth, soft inhalation, and as you exhale, make the healing sound ssssss - like the sound of a snake hissing. Direct, with your visualization, the vibration of this sound into your lungs, and feel that it is helping the "stuck" emotional energy of grief (your inner vision can see it as a gray cloud), to become "unstuck," i.e. to flow again as simply energy, without a specific name or shape.
  5. Make the ssssss sound, with your focus in your lungs, at least three times - though it's fine to repeat as many times as you'd like. This is the first part of the self-healing practice: using sound to release the energy of grief.
  6. In the second part of the practice, we're going to use the vibration of light to nourish the lung's virtue of courage. Here's how: First, focus your attention and exhale completely, and with your inhalation, imagine that you're drawing into your lungs a beautiful shimmering white light - the color of a full moon.
  7. "Breathe" this white healing light in through your nostrils, and mentally direct it to your lungs. Alternatively, you can "breathe" this healing light in through every cell of your skin, directing it to your lungs.Visualization and concentration are important components of this self-healing cultivation.
  8. Feel your lungs opening to receive the gift of this beautiful healing light - as though they were drinking a wonderful nectar, a powerful elixir. The energy of the moon is refreshing, cooling, reinvigorating and gives you strength.  See your lungs beginning to pulse and glow - to vibrate with this beautiful white energy, fill them up as if they were actually made of white light.
  9. With each inhalation, draw into your lungs this beautiful moon-white light. With each exhalation, simply notice the lung's "virtue" of courage. This is a quality that already exists within you. We're simply using a particular frequency of light to nourish it, to invite it to reveal its full splendor to us.
  10. Draw the healing light into your lungs for five or six breaths, at least - though you can continue for as long as you like.
  11. To end the practice, smile once again down to your lungs, and notice how you feel.
  12. Smile to the moon and do remember to practice this cultivation with the Full Moon, however, remember that the white lady, the Moon is always there. I had a student once that told me that she was not able to practice this exercise because there was no moon during the new moon cycle. Oh! The moon is gone, the moon is gone I said to her. :) Of course the moon is there and it is always there even when we don't "see it" with our physical eyes.

Remember that in Taoist Qigong practice emotions can be understood as forms of blocked energy. We use the healing sounds, the power of focusing the mind with an "INTENTION" to shift energy and the power of visualization to direct and craft energy, AND  to break up a particular emotion/shape, so that the energy bound in that shape can once again flow freely.

Write to me if you wish to share your experience with this self-healing cultivation or if you have further questions. I am here to help you in any way I can. :)

Love and light!
Katherine

How To Practice Healing Meditation

How To Meditate

We have three usual or normal states into which we all enter every day, these are;
- The awake state
- The sleep state
- The dream state, and
- The self-healing meditative state

Here are the four steps to begin your daily meditation practice.

1. Comfort-Ease: Adopt a seating position that is comfortable for you. One caveat is that you don't want to be so comfortable that you fall asleep. The reason is that sleep and meditation are different states, you actually get a deeper 'mind-full' rest with meditation. The intention of the creation and modulation of energy is a very important step. I always begin my group meditation practices inviting everyone to silence the mind, eliminating distractions by focusing on silence and an inner smile to tune-in to relaxation, a state of ease and peace. Then I invite everyone to choose the intention of this practice, for example; i.e., my intention is to shift my focus to light and love, or my intention is to improve my vibrational energy to a happier state... etc.

- I invite everyone reading this article to sit down for a moment and write down a list of some a daily habit that you want to cultivate.
mindful intentions you could focus on to begin your daily 20 min of meditation.  Do this at another time, preferable when you are calm and have some quiet personal time. Having a daily quiet personal time as part of your daily life style is very important and

2. Quality of Time: Meditation time is a special time, not to be interrupted by the telephone, fax machine, pets, cell phones, noise or temperature. Decide to make your time to meditate a sacred one. If you choose to meditate with someone else, please make sure that they are willing and ready to join you having the same intentions and understanding how important this is for healing and better health. The same holds true for children, friends or social groups - prayer circles.

3. Breathing: In the basic form of meditation, your most help-full tool can be any thought, sound, short prayer, mindful intention or phrase (mantra) that you would like to focus on. I personally like to focus on my breathing, observing my breathing first, listening to my body first, without changing anything. Then I slowly and kindly guide the rhythm of my breath to a more calm, deep and conscious-to-flow one.

- Words mean different things to different people. Choose words during meditation that have a positive, calming, uplifting meaning for you. In a research project at Harvard Medical School, for example, the Kundalini (*) yoga sounds of Sat Nam on the inhale and What Hey Guru on the exhale were shown to directly activate the memory area of the brain.

4. Conscious Better Habits: Once you begin to meditate, you'll be surprised to discover that your mind is restless even when you expect it to calm down, it will actually speed up. Why is this so? Well, well, well... our patterns of thoughts are taught to the brain consciously or unconsciously. When we begin to choose consciously what do we store in the brain and the assign meaning that we give to stored memories/mental images and stored emotions in the brain, we begin a process of self-discipline the mind deliberately. When we begin to meditate and to focus on a calming breathing, we begin to instruct the brain of new and better patterns of thoughts that are focused on ease, relaxation and positive emotions as a premise to let go of pressure, stress, expectations or negative emotions. It is as if a locked door opens up to let light and peace to come in.

- For those who being to meditate, phrases like these ones may come to mind when you "try" to calm or silence your mind. For example; i.e.,
  • "Why didn't I go to the bathroom before I started this."
  • "I have to balance my checkbooks and call the bank."
  • "What am I going to eat for dinner tonight."
When we meditate we are in the "energy" of the life style we live in and we can't expect to turn it off out of the sudden. Becoming aware of our life style choices helps us make better choices. What can I do to improve day-by-day a life without clutter, a simple life, a less stressful life? What sort of habits of behavior do I practice that create more clutter? What habits of behavior could I practice to eliminate clutter and to live a life of clarity, organization, serenity, relaxation and peace.

Continuity is of value. Give to yourself the time and attention that you need to begin practicing new and better habits of behavior and better habits of thought. Be kind to yourself. Love is attention.

When your brain moves from silence or calm into distractions or negative emotions, pause and shift your focus to more of what you want.  This is how we re-wire and re-train the brain into new habits of thought that work with us to achieve our new points of clarity for better health and life-styles. Smile to yourself, mind-fully and at ease. It is what you do with your thoughts that really matters and transcends in your life and the lives of others.

5. Focus Your Attention and Mind To Light: When you achieve a state of calm, ease and deep breathing bring your focus of attention to light. The brightest and loving ball of light you can possibly imagine, visualize it with your mind as if you were looking at it with your "inner vision" and breath that light in. Focus your attention to this light and let it fill you up; mind, body and like your soul, let it expand and grow from with-in you to all around you.

Timing: Practice your daily meditation for about 15 min daily. When you are one-with the light with-in you could pray, recite a mantra or send love to yourself and to others. Loving the self is important. This aspect of the meditation decreases brain activity and allow us to feel the blending with our cosmic conscious inner being.

Meditation develops many positive psychological health characteristics within us like; forgiveness, compassion, empathy, self-discipline, continuity and optimism.
