Healing Our Energy-IN-Motion, Emotions: A Therapeutic Approach

This fun and creative project allows you to turn your attention within, to focus your INTENTION and your ATTENTION

on you and on cultivating self appreciation, self respect, self value and self love.

This is a very special Tree that will help you, through out this season of Spring, of Renewal to cultivate a better relationship with yourself.

When we love and appreciate ourselves then we feel happy, this too evokes a sense of value fulfillment. So, invest some time this Spring on getting to know yourself better.

Think with your heart.

This unique Tree is a symbol of a living being that is well rooted, steady and strong and that grows out branches as it expands out, as it continues to dream dreams of itself into being. This precious Tree is YOU and it is all about your own life.

Steps
Choose a branch of a small tree and plant it on a beautiful planter of your choice.

Give a Name to this precious Tree.

Set the INTENTION for your Tree, for example, say something like this; this is a tree focusing on cultivating the virtue of GRATITUDE, or to on cultivating the VIRTUE of APPRECIATION and LOVE FOR THE SELF.

Make hearts cut out using paper or note cards, with a stream to hang those note cards on the tree.

Write down on those the INTENTION that you have chosen to focus on. Close your eyes, take a deep breath slowly through your nose, then, exhale slowly through your mouth while repeating this mantra;

Mantra: I open my heart to love. I let go of all that doesn't serve me well any more. I focus on LOVE and on feeling GRATITUDE, APPRECIATION.

Take the first heart cut out and think of an aspect of yourself that you feel APPRECIATION for. Continue to look for things that you feel appreciation for on yourself; on your character, on your features, on your special talents, on your physical features, on the gift of your imagination, on the ways of your heart and so on...

Mantra: I love and appreciate myself.

Have daily meaningful conversations with your Tree. This is your friend, a friend that you have planted and that you are learning how to care for it.

Love and light!

On The Healing And Strengthening Of The Human Heart... A Personal Experience

On the emotional aspect of heart healing, of healing our immune system and on how the psycho-somatic and psycho-neuro-immunology influence our heart health.

What can I do to help my heart, and to help create inner balance and healing within myself?  It is all about mindfulness, about time and attention which are the basis of love.

It is all about our daily meditation, time to be in solitude and to turn our attention inward.

1. The Spiritual essence of THE HEART represents the center of love and security in our lives.
- Mantra: My heart beats to the rhythm of love.
- Mantra: I express and craft joy into being, for myself and for others.

2. The Spiritual essence of THE CORONARY ARTERIES BRANCHES is to deliver oxygenated blood to all of the heart's cells. So, how the thoughts that we feel, which influence our emotional health, such as feeling safe and strong, or such as feeling lonely, fearful or scared could influence the biochemical messages, (the chemical instructions) send to the heart arteries and throughout the rest of our miraculous human body.

- Mantra: I am willing to release my fears. I am safe. I am loved. I am love.

Today as in every Monday, I do observe the intention of a Miracle Monday. I do expect Miracles on Mondays... There is power in living in a state of "expectation."

MEDITATION:
I do exist as a divine spirit light. All living  beings born into physical as human beings are born as free.

I am so free that I can choose bondage. I choose in freedom to see myself as being free. I am free in my emotions and in my mind.

No one can think for me, and this is a true premise.  No one can feel for me, and this too is a true premise. My life is a personal experience, and I choose what do I want to become, what is it that I want more of and what is it that I don't want more of.

Today, in the silence of a prayer, of this conversation with myself, of this meditation in the presence of this pure positive energy that gives me life... today I am focusing on the healing of my heart, and then I choose to let go of all my self impose limitations, or beliefs that do not longer serve me well.  Today I choose to focus on new and better thoughts about myself, about the opinion that I have of myself, about my life and about others. Today I choose to think thoughts are uplifting for me.

This week I will mindfully focus on this spiritual cultivation; on cultivating a free heart. And, this is the main intention of these reflective words, of these mantras and the more that I choose to repeat these words, the more that my heart opens my mind to the full awareness of my divine human nature.

Mantra:  I am free.

Mantra:  I am safe and that is the nature of my life.

SPIRITUAL CULTIVATIONS:
Every day of this week I set aside 15 min for this daily meditation.

- I take a deep breath visualizing this pure positive light energy all around me and coming from my heart.
- I exhale slowly... through my mouth while contemplating the presence of this light in me and around me.

Now, I turn my attention to my body, to my heart and I listen... I do listen to my body, to the cells of my heart that vibrate information for me. When I talk to my body then the cells of my body receive the message. We talk to our bodies constantly, either deliberately or by default, but we do keep in a state of this constant communication to the cells of our bodies.

On healing my heart and to my coronary arteries which are in me to transport oxygen, and to detox my heart and the veins of my body, I daily cultivate the habit of listening to the messages coming from the cells of my body, and I do talk back to the cells of my body as well. And, I do listen without interruptions and without judgement to the voice of my heart.

My coronary arteries are feeling good today, they are saying to me that they are healthy and that they are feeling

I mindfully release from my heart and from the coronary arteries tension, and I let go too of any negative emotion based on fear, based on negative self talk or on fear.

strong because I am allowing the flow of feeling like free, the flow of freedom and of self love in me. My coronary arteries are saying to me today that they are willing to let go of the emotion of doubt, of uncertainty, of loneliness, or of fear that causes stress to my veins and to the flow of well being in me.

QUESTIONS FOR SELF REFLECTION:

1. And what to do when it comes to feeling the emotion of fear.  What comes to my mind?  Write it down.

2. Fear is a friend, a friend that comes to me to signal an evaluation.  What comes to my mind? Write it down.
Fear is an e-motion, energy in motion.

3. What is the message that Fear brings for me? Fear comes to say, are you prepare? Are you prepare for what is coming, for what is about to happen, for what is unfolding right before you?

What comes to mind in regards to the vibrational words offer by Fear to us? Write it down.

Thank you Fear for coming to me, for being able to talk about something that I am not feeling in control of. Now I do realize that clarity is power and that I can do this. I can take care of myself and of my life.

I first think a thought and this thought is followed by an e-motion, energy in motion, which are those chemical messengers that transport neurotransmitters, which are cells coming from the brain traveling throughout the nerve system to my heart, and to my caronary arteries, they transport the essences of the thoughts that I choose to think.

Mantra: What I think of me is of value.

Mantra: I choose to think thoughts that help me to feel prosperous, healthy and happy.

The words that I choose to define myself, to talk to my body or for self talk influence my body at a cell level.

I send blessings to you;
In the name of the strong
In the name of what is truth
In the name of the beautiful
In the name of the essence of freedom
and, In the name of love.

Happy and Prosperous Chinese Spring Festival 2020, Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year 2020 falls on Saturday, January 25, 2020, beginning a year of the Rat. The Chinese New Year, also called the Spring Festival, is the longest annual holiday. It starts on the first of the Lunar Calendar and lasts until the 15th day.

The Spring Festival marks a new year on the lunar calendar and represents the desire for a new life.

The Rat is associated with the Metal Element... Meticulous. In terms of yin and yang (阴阳—yīn yáng), the Rat is Yang (Divine Masculine), and it represents Renewal, the beginning of a new day. The Yang Metal Rat influences the 12 Chinese Zodiac Signs in 2020.  The Metal Element Color is White, it is of value to focus on cultivating Integrity, Achieving Academic Excellence and on being an Instrument of Peace.

The Yang Metal element in Traditional Chinese Energy Medicine symbolizes autumn, that is, harvest time.  The Metal Element governs the Year of The Rat 2020, and the basis are in structure, in order, in self discipline and in precision.

The Yang Metal Rat 2020 is the year of renewed ambitions and strategies, where one turn one's back to the past, accepts the lessons that have been learned and keep the experiences that are for good, to have evolved ourselves spiritually speaking.

What is the purpose of life and what is then the Spiritual meaning of a New Year? The purpose of life is to love, to learn how to love the self, and to love the self it is first necessary to know the self. Love is too about self appreciation and how can we appreciate something that we don't know, then it is necessary to invest this life to know the self, to know and to cultivate, appreciate who we are.  The Spiritual meaning of a New Year is always about embracing the energy of new beginnings, under the umbrella of a Constructive Cycle. It is a choice to want to focus on where we are going and to let go of what doesn't serve us well any more.  But more over, this new year of 2020, The Yang Metal Rat energy or spiritual essence is inviting us to focus on inner harmony, inner balance, self reflection and silence to create this space so needed within to be able to listen, to listen to our unique voice within.

May time for Meditation, for self reflection, for study of the self be too a New Year goal. And, most of all, this year the dominant color present throughout the year is the color White for Metal... so let's focus on making and nurturing peace and peaceful ways, and for this, for peace to exist we first have to disarm our minds and our hearts.

The Metal Rat is Passionate about everything it undertakes, it loves freedom and this is a good environment to power our Imagination. But, are the basis of the thoughts that we choose to think of importance to craft worlds into being?  Yes, so it is important to learn how to choose and cultivate our Roots, to grow Branches toward the outcomes that we aim at; like Rats who are associated with the energy of Prosperity,
Optimism, Creativity, Meticulous and of a Financial Stability.

China is a nation of colorful languages. There are many variations to even the most simple Chinese New Year greetings. You have probably heard of xīn nián kuài lè (新年快乐) or Happy New Year, but it is said differently in other Chinese regions.

China is home to over ten dialects including the Beijing dialect, Cantonese, and Shanghainese.  Cantonese is also one of the most widely used dialects in China apart from Mandarin.

“Happy Spring Festival” in Mandarin, say chūn jiē kuài lè.

Calligraphy is another popular form of Art in China.

Characters representing blessings are written on square pieces of red paper and pasted on walls, doors, or windows. The most common character used as Chinese New Year decoration is fu (福) as it represents fortune.

The Kongming Lantern (孔明灯) is especially significant during the festival. People write down their wishes on these lanterns before releasing them to the heavens in hopes of getting their wishes granted.

Tale of the 12 Zodiac Animals

The story of the 12 zodiac animals is one of the most well-known Chinese New Year myths. The order of the twelve zodiac animals was determined by a race arranged by the Jade Emperor

According to one folktale, the Jade Emperor decided that the order of the animals would be determined according to the order by which they arrived at his party. This zodiac animal cleverly convinced the Ox to give him a ride. Just as the pair arrived at the door, the Rat jumped ahead and landed before the Ox.

The tiger and the rabbit then followed soon after. Instead of potentially finishing ahead of the pack, the dragon was delayed because it deviated from the race to save an entire village from a flood. The snake arrived at the same time as the dragon but was too small to be noticed immediately. The dog, the monkey, and the rooster finished together after they helped a god in another country. Finishing close to each other was the horse and the goat. The horse was just a tad bit faster than the goat. After its home was destroyed by a wolf, the pig had to rebuild its house before entering the race and, eventually, finishing last.

Spring Festival Food

Chinese people give a lot of merit and importance to 'seeds', and this is to me a significant and a meaningful spiritual metaphor. Seeds signify one's potential as a miraculous human being for great things. In Traditional Chinese Energy Medicine seeds are use for their invaluable 'energetic potential' to influence biomarkers of health and well being in our physical body.

Chinese people love their baked seeds as one of the most popular snacks to celebrate the Spring Festival or to welcome a New Year, a new and better beginning... for the self and for everyone.

 Cultivate Balance,
Cultivate Prosperity Consciousness,
Treasure Your Family, Nurture Others, Be Happy...

Once an Elder 92 years old said to me this; "It is foolish not to be happy."  So, I am inviting everyone to focus on the perusing of inner happiness and of happiness as a way of life. Let's focus on that which we wish to create and on that which we want more of...

Note: The Unlucky Things to Do at Chinese New Year
Sweeping up on New Year's Day: don't "sweep all your luck away".  😉
